Rio’s 2017 Carnival is about to begin with the samba parades, blocks and carnival dances.
The excitement increases as the Rio Carnival approaches. The annual show precedes Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, according to Christians, a period of fasting and repentance around the world. The Rio Carnival will bring almost one million people from all over the planet to the city at a time when samba takes control. One of the main characteristics that make Carnival so vibrant are the creative and colorful costumes used by partygoers in masked balls and street carnival blocks.
